MedSafe’s training program is designed to give employees a better understanding of the confusing aspects of HIPAA privacy and security, which includes HITECH and federal OMNIBUS rule. The training is meant to be interactive, so the audience members can enhance their educational experience. All team members should be trained annually on HIPAA policies and procedures, as required under the HIPAA Omnibus Rule. MedSafe's expertise also includes safety standards promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other regulatory and industry standards and guidelines.
